The successful launch of the United Federation of Employers Zambia took place on Thursday the 6th of April 2023 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Lusaka Society Business Park. Watch the media coverage (video) to learn more about the event.
The Honourable Minister of Labour & Social Security Ms Brenda Tambatamba officially opened and launched the Federation in a speech read by the Assistant Labour Commissioner Ms Mukamusole Mundale Kasanda.

The highest organ of the UFEZ is the General Assembly which is composed of delegates drawn from the Executive Committee and the Employers and Business Membership Organizations. The General Assembly is held every four years.
The Executive Committee is composed of the President, two Vice Presidents, two Executive Secretaries (one for Administration & Management, one for Organization & Operations), Vice Executive Secretary, Financial Secretary, and four Trustees. Two Ex-officials are appointed by the Assembly from the delegates.
Tenure of office is four years.
The President is the head of the Secretariat as fulltime elected official, assisted by two Executive Secretaries (Administration & Management, Organization & Operations). Other fulltime officials are Vice Executive Secretary and Financial Secretary. The Secretariat may recommend employment of support staff.
Provincial Co-ordinators are appointed by the President in consultation with the Executive Committee and report to the secretariat.
District Co-ordinators are appointed by the President in consultation with the Executive Committee and report to the secretariat.
